Early spring, does heading out to eat. Yearling does take the lead today. Crossing the creek to head up the hill. Multiflower rose is too tempting for one. They wait for the tempted one. Then turn and head up to the hills. Their livestock guard dog gets a drink. Boer does on the hill looking for brush. Not much brush in early spring. So, they look for a good dirt rub. Always watchful, the LGD (livestock guard dog), Buck, stays close to his girls.
First of Dec., before daylight, it's morning feeding. Girls wait at the gate to be let into their feed area. Feed has already been put out. Above pasture, herd of yearling does move down to their own feed area for breakfast.
